Old Kendal

Old Kendal

When I started, the sun was shining on my corner of the street, the strong winter sunlight bounced from house to house, neither the ice on the pavement, or the snow on the roof seemed to be interested in melting soon.

I was told by one the people living on the street that there are always crowds on walking tours hanging around outside their front door.  The area used to be populated by people from the workhouse.  I’ve been intrigued by the house at the end of the street, one day I’ll have to go on one of these guided tours.

I wanted to return and do more, but the snow melted before the end of the week.
